Sergio hails from Chihuahua, México. He began his film education at The London Film School and later earned an MFA from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA. After graduating, he returned to his home country to establish himself as one of the most versatile filmmakers in the market.

In 2018, driven by the belief that the best work emerges from a collaborative environment built on creative respect and dedication to craft, he founded LOVSTER.

Sergio’s adaptable filmmaking style, ranging from jaw-dropping dynamic visual ads to clever and polished institutional pieces, has earned him various accolades, including Best Director at the Cíclope Latino 2022 awards.
