Fernando has dedicated his life to the world of advertising, and it shows. Throughout his career, he has explored every corner of the industry: from post-production and editing, to assistant directing, agency producing, and, for quite some time now, directing and producing. His work has taken him alongside Spain’s biggest advertisers and earned recognition at the most prestigious advertising festivals.
In recent years, Fernando has expanded his creative scope by venturing into fiction. His debut short film, Como yo te amo (The Way I Love You), became a festival favorite, winning over 50 national and international awards. These included Best Comedy and the Audience Award at Clermont-Ferrand, as well as a Goya nomination for Best Fiction Short Film in 2018.
He made his feature film debut in 2021 with the comedy Descarrilados (Derailed), and followed it up in the summer of 2024 with two new releases: Mala Persona (Bad Person) and Odio el Verano (I Hate the Summer), the latter reaching number one at the Spanish box office for two consecutive weeks.
