Club Local is a motion and stills duo based in Mexico City. For founders Daniel Patlán & Conrado del Campo, what began as a friendship of shared passions and hobbies has transformed into love for storytelling.
Imagine a mix of music, coffee, skateboarding, punk rock, beer, live shows, photography, mutual love and admiration for the Beautiful Losers & Bruce Springsteen, and daily memes of The Sopranos, and you’ll get pretty (pretty) close to the heart of
Club Local.
When they’re not on set switching from a 35mm film camera to an Arri Alexa to a full frame mirrorless or DSLR or medium format digital camera and back to an analog medium format camera (the guys are geeks about their gear), you might find them sitting outside their coffee shop YONKE (as the Sopranos did at Satriale’s) listening to
their favorite records, enjoying a cup of Joe, playing with grip and lights in their studio,Club Local Studio, and bigger ideas beyond those four walls.
Fueled by coffee and tattoos, Daniel & Conrado will always be having a good time, pouring their all into telling their clients’ stories in the most authentic way, all the while creating a shoot atmosphere that makes everyone feel like a band of brothers and sisters. In the end, who’s to say…was it work or was it play?
